By 3AM, deliveries from certified abattoirs are already arriving, freshly slaughtered beef from Fulani cattle traders, goat from Ogun State livestock farms, and live poultry from commercial farms in Oyo and Osun. The butchers are ready before dawn, and by the time the market opens, the freshest cuts are already laid out.
Mile 12 caters to every buyer. A significant number of our butchers are certified halal operators, slaughtering and handling meat according to Islamic law, with clear labelling and separation.
